The south-facing doors and windows at the front of the home invite light in and draw the gaze outward to the river flowing beneath, while at the back of the home, the clean, black-framed windows display the rocky enclave that was created by dynamiting out portions of the earth. The raw rock wall is a backdrop and a feature, and all of our interior materials and finishes were derived from the natural tones found in the landscape surrounding the home—with a few unexpected pops, of course.
